I couldn’t think of a better way to start off the New Year than with a newborn session! I have been waiting on little Miss Emma’s arrival since I did her mom’s maternity photos in November. She was worth the wait!
One of the photos I was so excited to take that day was a recreation of one of her maternity pictures. I love how it came out!
There’s noting more special than spending a morning with a newborn. This one wasn’t any different. Except maybe because I got to also spend the morning with her mom, who happens to be a friend of mine. Caitlin was very cooperative!
She also was a little monster baby! I was afraid she wouldn’t fit on my scale…but I am so glad she did!
This little guy is extra special to me. He’s my newest nephew! He was also one of my best newborns ever. Slept the entire time {didn’t pee or poop on any of my stuff!} and let me do whatever I wanted with him.
Meet Aubrey! She’s Reid’s older cousin {by one hour}. Not only was I there for Reid’s birth, but I was able to meet Aubrey when she was just minutes old. These two sure like to do things together! We had their newborn sessions together on the same day. They both gave me a run for my money. They took turns messing my blankets…but it was so worth it!

Last week, I had the honor of being present for one of the most important days in a family’s life. I was there to capture baby Reid’s entrance in the world. I was beyond excited when Jenni asked me to be present on that very special day. It was truly one of the most amazing days of my life.
Thank you again for letting me be a part of your little man’s birthday! I can’t wait to see him this weekend for his newborn session.
Meet Dylan! After mom’s maternity session, I couldn’t wait to get the phone call that baby Dylan had arrived.
Little Miss Caroline may have only been a few months old but she knew how to work a camera! She was the most pleasant baby I have worked with and loved smiling and laughing for the camera. I also couldn’t have asked for better lighting.
When I came home from vacation, I hit the ground running! Brady was my first session since coming back. 
I felt like I had come full circle when I photographed Eleanor’s newborn pictures. Her parents were my very first clients. I shot their engagement session back in 2009!
I was so excited when they contacted me to photograph their precious baby girl!
Little Sid wanted no parts of sleeping when I arrived to shoot his newborn session. We made due with a very awake baby!
