My favorite holiday moment was when my my fiance threw me a party to get my spirits high after I had been diagnosed with a disease a few days before CHristmas. I had been depressed, and he told me he had to work on CHristmas. So I stayed at my mothers during the day, then she was driving me home, and next thing I know: SURPRISE! Everyone in my family was there to uplift me and it wind up going from the worst Christmas to the best Christmas ever. :-)

My favorite memory is not receiving a material gift, but receiving the true meaning of the holiday, love, friendship and pure joy. Money, nor a materialistic gift or person can take that away.

My favorite mem ory of 2011 is marrying my best friend:) Adam and I were married 12/10/11 and I wouldn't change a thing. He's an amazing father to our three year old little girl and has made our lives full. <3 Favorite memory from our wedding day? Watching that same three year old run down the aisle after us at the church... and then wipe out half way down. Both of us walked back up to get her and walked down as a family- the way we should be. :)

My favorite memory this holiday was my 18 month old's excitement on Christmas morning...not because of the million gifts under the tree that I shopped for hours for and wrapped, but becaudse of the bag of Nutter Butter cookies that she found in her stocking :) Once she found teh cookies, she sat on the step eating every last one and was not remotely interested in a single gift!

My favorite holiday memory was when my son who is eight (and is teetering on the whole Santa Claus issue) went shopping at the mall with me. We were walking by the Santa section and I asked him if he would just like to go over and mention to Santa what he wanted for Christmas. He shot back without missing a beat..."No, this shirt really isn't fancy enough for Santa" ...too cute!
